Tanggungjawab
• Mengatur dan merancang langkah-langkah pencegahan jenayah;
• Membuat perancangan dalam operasi-operasi terutama bagi membendung kegiatan kecurian di seluruh  rangkaian KTMB dan depoh serta bengkel-bengkel semboyan serta yad simpanan barang-barang lusuh;

• Menjalankan ¡§networking¡¨ dengan pegawai-pegawai Polis di stesen-stesen utama;
• Menjalankan tugas risikian dan pengumpulan maklumat yang menarik perhatian keselamatan yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan KTMB;

Kelayakan
 
         Anggota Polis Di Raja Malaysia (PDRM) berpangkat Sarjan, Sarjan Mejar, Sub Inspektor atau Inspektor yang mempunyai sijil SPM, STPM atau Diploma;
         Mempunyai 10 tahun pengalaman dalam PDRM dan rekod perkhidmatan yang baik;
         Berumur diantara 35 hingga 49 tahun;
         Berpengalaman dan mahir dalam pengunaan senjata api;
         Boleh berkomunikasi dan menulis dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris;
